Innovia / For CAMs
For CAM Company Owners · Membership · By introduction

Independent companies.
Stronger together.

Independence backed by the power of a nationwide network. Innovia is a national cooperative of the country’s most respected independent community management companies — operators who refuse to be consolidated. Members come for the peer council, the shared vendor program, and the knowledge transfer between operators who run companies like theirs. They stay because the cooperative makes them better stewards of the communities they serve.

No. 01What the cooperative is for

Four reasons companies come to the room.

Innovia exists because the country’s best independent management companies wanted somewhere to grow alongside their peers. The cooperative is built around four shared commitments — each one pointing back at the communities our members serve.

01

A peer council to lean on

Founders, managers, and operations leads meet to share what’s working. The room is closed-door, peer-led, and free of vendor agendas.

P · 01 · Community
02

Vendor terms passed through

Cooperative-negotiated banking, software, insurance, and operational partners — with savings flowing directly to the communities each member serves.

P · 02 · Resources
03

Development for every role

Manager cohorts, accounting peer groups, business development lead exchanges. The Innovia Academy invests in the whole team — not just the owner’s seat.

P · 03 · People
04

Independence with national reach

Keep your name, your culture, and your community relationships. Add the scale, intelligence, and resources of a national cooperative behind every contract you take.

P · 04 · Belonging
The cooperative’s working creed

We stand apart
because we stand together.

No. 02 · What members unlock

Three pillars. Built for independents.

Innovia is owned by its members and organized around three commitments. These commitments make explicit what members have always come for — and the reason they stay.

01

Elite Community

An invitation-only circle of independent CAM company owners. Members come for the content; they stay for the company they keep.

No. 03The shape of membership

What the first year looks like.

You don’t overhaul your operations. You layer the cooperative on top of what already works. Most members see the first vendor savings inside 90 days.

Week 00 · Discovery

Introductory conversation

A 30-minute call with the Innovia team. No slide deck. We talk about your company, what you’re building, and how the cooperative might fit.

Week 02 · Introduction

Co-op introduction

If there’s mutual fit, we go deeper on how your company and the cooperative could work together, and what membership would look like for a firm your size.

Month 01 · Onboarding

Portal & vendor enrollment

Login to the portal, intro to peer-group leads, and direct sign-ups for vendor partners that map to your line items.

Quarter 01 · Roots

First peer-group meeting

Attend your first cohort meeting. Connect with peers in your size band. The KPIs unlock. The vendor benefits start showing up for the communities you serve.

In members’ own words.

Three member founders, in their own words.

Since joining Innovia we’ve doubled our business by implementing the programs and best-practice strategies we’ve been exposed to as a member. We need to evolve and continue to grow as a company — Innovia provides us with the tools to do just that.

Ricky Zilem
Managing Partner · PS Management

I knew the “big-box” management companies were eventually going to be in my market, but as a member of Innovia we were prepared and remain competitive. Surrounding ourselves with a powerful network has better positioned us for future success.

Robert Klages
Chief Executive Officer · Community Property Management

CFM’s goal is to remain independent and focused on the personal needs of each client — an intentional decision in an industry full of consolidations. Innovia allows us to remain independent while having buying power and thought leadership from other independent companies across the United States.

No. 05Common questions

What members ask before they join.

Q · 01 We already have vendor relationships we’re happy with. Do we have to switch?
No. Co-op membership doesn’t require replacing existing vendors. Members typically start by directing new or supplemental spend through preferred partners and evaluate the savings before changing anything else. The question isn’t whether your current vendors are good — it’s whether your pricing terms are as strong as they could be.
Q · 02 We’re too small for this to make a meaningful difference.
The model works precisely because small and mid-size companies pool volume together. A company too small to negotiate meaningful terms on its own is exactly the profile Innovia was designed for. The benefits compound across vendor categories — and every one of them points back at the communities you serve.
Q · 03 How does Innovia make money? Is there a catch?
Innovia is a true cooperative — not a referral program or a vendor-marketing scheme. Membership runs on two tiers: Basic members and Stockholders. Both receive the vendor partnerships, peer network, resources, and events. Stockholders additionally share in the cooperative’s vendor dividend — the fee vendor partners pay Innovia for being part of the program, pooled and distributed back to stockholder members. Instead of profits flowing to outside shareholders, that vendor-side revenue flows back to the operators who own and use the cooperative.
Q · 04 How is this different from a referral program or kickback arrangement?
Innovia operates as a member-owned cooperative. Members hold a stake in the organization, and the co-op exists to serve them — not to monetize them on the back end.
Q · 05 We don’t have time to manage another program.
Innovia is designed to reduce work, not add it. Vendor terms are pre-negotiated, peer-group meetings are scheduled quarterly with calendars sent a year in advance, and the portal is opt-in. Once onboarded, the operational lift is minimal.
Q · 06 Does joining mean giving up our brand or independence?
No. The cooperative deliberately exists outside the acquisition path. You keep your name, your contracts, your team, and your board relationships. The co-op layers leverage and intelligence on top of an independent firm — it doesn’t replace one.
No. 08Schedule a Conversation
